About this deal

Anyway… other than that minor inconvenience, the book was perfection! I loved every second of it! And I noticed that Meagan Brandy’s writing style has improved a lot since the last time I’ve read a book of hers and I’m very proud of her for that!! Like this is really not a great way to start. It's so cliche to already have a trio of super-hot guys that are all friends. But then the author tells us they're all also super smart, super athletic, and bad boys. Later we also learn that they're similar heights. So the only difference is their hair color I guess... Reign of Brayshaw” is the third novel in the “Brayshaw High” series, and was released in the year 2019. Trust only the ones that earn it. It is one sentiment that she follows, but that holds more consequences than ever before. Five lives, three futures, and one choice. That is what is at stake here.

Ari is a real cutie. I loved her character and I’m just so glad that she got what she deserved after having gotten treated so badly by Chase. For example, when the heroine is telling us (lots of telling in this book) about her twin brother and his two best friends, we get: Also, can I just add a more general observation. This is not particular to this book only, I’ve seen this done 100 times before and that’s the overprotective brother routine. I do gotta say though that some of the things certain characters (such as Cam and Brady) said were a bit cringe imo but not that bad that I had to look away lol.Since i haven't read one review mentioning this, let me tell you the premise of the story is in fact a FREAKING LOVE TRIANGLE. Wow, I didn’t expect to love this book so much and have so many emotions coursing through me. The story was beautiful and I loved it.

Honestly, I don't really like the author's writing. And the story and characters are just totally unrealistic; it's clear that the author writes from a list of plot points she wants to hit without truly doing any world or character building. Just like an actor takes on a role and has to understand the nuances for how characters would behave in certain instances, author's also need to do this work to bring their characters and worlds to life.UNTIL I was lost with Payton..Parker? Nate? I did do a little research because I felt like I was missing something. Apparently, Nate and his girl (can't remember her name) are the main characters in another series by the author. The story revolves around 5 inseparable best friends ~ Arianna, Mason, Chase, Brady & Cameron. They were together constantly in high school, are deeded a beach house together and go to college together. The girls live together and the boys live together. The boys play football together and if the girls aren't at the games then they're watching it on tv together. That's a whole lot of togetherness. Featuring ~multiple 1st person POV, 18 yo characters, college, twins, WAY over protective brother and friends, football, love triangle~ish, minimal steamage

This novel is rather hot and filled with a bunch of twists and turns. Raven and Maddoc are fantastic together, and readers enjoyed their moments of intimacy, and their moments of possession and unadulterated passion. Some found them to be quite a force and a great romance novel couple. Fans found themselves once more enthralled by one of Meagan’s stories, and she is an author they cannot read enough of. Readers found themselves getting so engrossed, they could barely breathe and didn’t want it to end. This book is filled with mystery, surprises, love, hate, secrets, hot guys, and one strong and sassy heroine. Fans found themselves getting hooked right at the start off of the prologue with the main characters being shown while younger. Say you Swear is a love triangle, college football sports romance with angst, friendships, love, and heartbreaking moments that took me on an emotional rollercoaster and had me feeling all of the emotions. The smut doesn’t start until about 50% in. It really disturbed me that he didn’t wear a condom or even discuss birth control with Ari yet he supposedly cared about her. They’re 18 and 21. They weren’t ready for a baby yet.let me just say, the hype is real! i went into this pretty blind, not knowing much other than a few of the tropes and i’m so glad i did. this book is by far one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking books i’ve ever read.
